| St Neot is set within an area of outstanding natural beauty and special scientific interest, just south of Colliford Lake, which is Bodmin Moor's largest reservoir. The village was originally founded on wool, tin and slate, but now sadly that has all gone. Winners of the prestigious award Village of the year in England and Wales 2004, runner’s up last year and in September 2006 St Neot won Village of the Decade.
This friendly, welcoming village is the perfect spot from which to discover the beautiful countryside of Bodmin Moor. Take off into the wilderness by foot, bike or horseback and you’ll find an incredible ancient landscape that has a distinctly primeval feel.
